In one of the regular EU Open Data Skype calls we started to discuss the different requirments for Open government data registries and catalogs. Since there are many ongoing initiatives in different countries and bunch of people are trying to figure aout the same things, we decided to organize a virtual workshop.
The idea of the workshop is to generally brainstorm the requirments for a good data catalog. Here a list of existing datacatalogs for benchmarking purposes. I will keep the list updated in diigo service (delicius for this decade) and wellcome all datacatalog enthusiasts to come and comment the different catalog sites there.
